EDI Orderentry

With the module Orderentry it’s possible for your clients to directly enter their orders on your personal http://multisiteservices.com website. By delegating this task to them they share the need for completeness and correctness of the entered data. Something which is rarely the case when orders are given via telefephone, email of Faximile.

Apart from the manualy entered orders via internet we're supporting three methods of automated data entry:

  • XLS; the propierity format of Microsoft Excel worksheets,
  • CSV; which stands for Comma Seperated Values,
  • XML; we have defined a suitable XML format in which orders are defined.

GLOBAL LOGISTIC PRODUCTS

Business Intelligence (BI) refers to the use of company data to facilitate decision-making by decision-makers, i.e. understanding current functioning and anticipating actions for well-informed steering of the enterprise.

Intelligence tools are based on the use of an intelligence information system which is supplied with different data extracted from production data, information concerning the company or its environment and economic data.

A tool called ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) is therefore responsible for extracting data from different sources, cleaning them up and loading them into a data warehouse.

Finally, analytic intelligence tools make it possible to model the representations on the basis of queries to create border tables, this is called reporting.

The advantage

If the driver is not capable of sending status information to the CargoOffice via SMS or PDA he or she is required to make a phone call and inform the office. Imagine a transportation company with 100+ drivers who all need to inform the office with important status information by phone.

As stated in the Track and Trace section, we have seen situations where the dispatch or planning department didn't receive a single call coming from drivers that called to inform the company of a certain event. Again, this is something everybody is eager to have because it means you can do more with less.

Assign jobs to drivers using a simple web interface

CargoOffice Dispatch

All orders in the CargoOffice can be assigned to drivers using the Dispatch module.

The interface is simple yet effective by splitting the browser window into two parts. On one side all the drivers are displayed with their assigned jobs listed beneath the corresponding date. And on the other side all jobs are shown which haven't already been assigned.

If the drivers are equiped with PDA's the assigned jobs will apear on their personal webpage so they can report statusses and have customers sign for delivery.

Where CargoOffice meets FreeCargo

CargoOffice Exchange

  My_twentyfour_hour_service_your_services

The CargoOffice Exchange module is a unique way of sharing loads between trusted parties which we call Closed-user groups. Exchanging load between fellow transport companies is a common thing nowadays so we wanted to provide our customers with
a solution to do this within the CargoOffice.

Safety

Companies who're exchanging loads on a regular basis can form a so called closed-user group. Loads offered within this system are not visible for outsiders but only to your trusted partners. If none of your partners shows interest in the offers, it can automaticly be copied into the FreeCargo freight exchange where much more companies can take a look at it. The important fact is that your trusted partners have the first choice to accept your offer.
